Memphis author Susan Cushman is offering a creative writing workshop. This is for writers of all levels, from beginner to published authors. Have you considered writing a memoir to save and share important memories from your life? Or do you have an idea for an essay, short story, or novel? This is an opportunity to learn more about the craft of writing, and to have your writing samples critiqued by the instructor. Susan is author of five books—two novels, two memoirs, and a short story collection. She is also editor of three anthologies of essays by other authors. Susan Cushman is author of five books: Pilgrim Interrupted (memoir), John and Mary Margaret (novel), Friends of the Library (short stories), and Cherry Bomb (novel). She is editor of three anthologies of essays by other authors: Southern Writers on Writing, A Second Blooming: Becoming the Women We Are Meant to Be, and The Pulpwood Queens Celebrate 20 Years! She has led numerous workshops in person and online, including Kirby Pines Senior Living, Pat Conroy Literary Center (Beaufort, SC), Catholic Literary Arts, Novel Books (Memphis), Mississippi Writers Guild, Middle Tennessee State University, and more.
